Diagnosis of Deafness
The main function of this text is diagnostic. He explains why we have so much difficulty accepting complexity: because we have been trained for 2500 years to see instability as a mistake to correct.

By rejecting both the divine order (Theology) and the rational order (Enlightenment), the text opens space for an ontology where order is local, temporary and costly. Without this step, OCE would be just another metaphysics of harmony.
